Redefining Project Goals

After performing the usability test, I got a better understanding about the target audiences especially to figure out their goals and pain points. Apart from that, I was also able to get clear answers on the research questions that I established in the beginning of this research.

Apart from that, the usability testing has also given me the opportunity to explore and examine what works and what doesn’t work in the app in solving user issues. Therefore, before developing the final design, I implemented the Golden Circle framework by Simon Sinek to evaluate the value proposition that I’m offering to users through Froot. This framework helps to create a product that focus on solving users’ challenges by asking this 3 questions:

  1. What does the app do? (What)

  2. What are the main things that the app’s going to provide service for you doing? (How)

  3. What’s the outcome? (Why)

Froot teached me to: manage, care, and assess my fresh produce I have at home. Now, I become food-literate and be more mindful in handling my fresh produce.
